Scenalyzer AVI, No Video in Vegas 14

I have an .avi clip imported from VHS through a Canopus ADVC 100 via Scenalyzer. The clip does not display video on the timeline or preview of Vegas 14. The audio is good. The video is present as I can load the clip into Handbrake with success. Previous versions of Scenalyzer have always played well with Vegas. Is there a missing codec or something I'm missing? Thanks!

Disable device control in your capture program, use Legacy 1394 device drivers, and you should see the video.

Unfortunately, this did not solve my problem. Scenalyzer appears to be working normally. After loading the clip with Scenalyzer, it plays back normally using VLC and other players. When the clip is placed on the Vegas timeline, both video and audio tracks are created, but the video track is blank. It plays back on Vegas as a black track. Is there a codec that could be missing? This one has me bewildered!

Not sure what fixed the problem, but I reset the General Preferences to "Default All" and voila...problem solved!
