Should I enable progressive download?

Can someone explain me what is it for? I already tried searching on the web and I got what they say, but I dunno how they work, will they make my computer slower? since I am also trying to figure out how to make Sony Vegas take less CPU (My computer has dual cores, using both cores, and 8GB Ram)

Sony Vegas doesn't ruin my computer nor anything, it just makes it hard to watch a podcast while editing a video, so well, help?

Progressive download option is used when you want to host your video on your web server. It simply moves a few mp4 headers to the beginning of the file and I believe it doesn't affect rendering time.

Yes, it is better if you do.

So its a good idea to have this on if you make videos for Youtube? :-)

Yes, because upstream processing time may be cut almost in half
