Vegas "Smart Upscale" plugin not found. Am I missing something? There's "upscale" bit not "Smart upscale" Upscale has limited controls. W10, i9 processor, ROGz390MB, 32G Ram, GeForce RTX 3080 TI video.
The same build number and it's there for me.
Discovered it can still be enabled in Vegas Pro 20 by going to Options/Preferences/Deprecated Features (tab) and checking/activating "Enable Smart Upscale and Smart Zoom".

"Vegas Upscale" is the latest replacement for "Vegas Smart Upscale." It is smarter than the one you enabled.
In order to use Vegas Upscale and certain other effects, you have to install the Deep Learning Models for your Vegas version.
Using Vegas 365, I am about two-thirds through a major project which is dependent on upscaling from HD to UHD. As of the latest online update, my "upscale" effect is freezing and crashing the program when I attempt to use it. This is devastating to my project. I've tried reinstalling both the Vegas 365 as well as the "Deep Learning Models" multiple times with no success. I have the latest Nvidia display drivers installed. I need a solution.
Did you add "upscale" as a Media FX?
Yes, of course. ONLY as "Media Effect". I had been using the effect very successfully until the Vegas update.

No good answers yet. I have a screen shot of the error message, I'll try to post it. This error message appears on my preview screen when attempting to use the "upscale" effect (Media FX). This is related to the use of AI, specifically ONNX stack from what I've been able to find.
