[SOLVED] Creating Spotify Canvas

Hello--

I have a two part question regarding the creation of Spotify Canvases. Here are the requirements for the video - so it looks good on a phone:

Your Canvas must be:
Vertical 9:16 ratio.
At least 720px tall.
3-8 seconds long.
An MP4 or JPG file

My first question is if there is anyway you can render an existing 1920x1080 (standard landscape orientation) project to meet the above requirements without the video looking squished? I've tried, and it still squishes the rendered video. I also tried to do a pan zoom and the edges of the video were cut off while viewing from my phone.

The second question is if I have to start with video footage or still images of a certain dimension and orientation in order to render a video with the above parameters and not look squished?

Thanks!

Your source must be the same aspect ratio, 9:16 portrait orientation.

If you want to crop a vertical chunk out of a 16:9 1080p video, you can do that.
