Well i'm just setting vegas 17 to my previous workflow, and something went wrong. I cannot even good describe it, so there is a video. If i click on FX button, it's ok, window popup. But dragging/adding new effect twist display to something strange for me. And then again I must restore my view.... how to fix it??
[edit] I clicked on "power user" and it's looks like helped, but yesterday i did same thing, and today problem appeared again. I will check this after restarting.

@Musicvid - You just don't understand what I mean. But it's no problem. After restaring everything is ok now. But I don't know either, what helped with it.
It was problem with dockng effect window when new effect was added. This should open new window with effect, not docked with trimmer.
What I want to new window with effect properties should be opened whenever I want to ADD effect, or EDIT effect.
Sorry if I'm messing words, english isn't my native language.
Lastly, I have been using vegas since version 4, it was made by sonic foundry then:)

When you use a keyboard shortcut in a demovideo its for a viewer not to see, and therefore useless to do as a demo for what you are doing.
But still, as you can see, it not change anything from this unwanted behaviour.

Ok. Bad behaviour:
1) NEW effect = window "effect properties" jump to docked place with trimmer and mess with window layout.
2) EDIT effect = new undocked window "effect properties".
Expected behaviour:
1) NEW effect = new undocked window "effect properties"
2) EDIT effect = new undocked window "effect properties".
If it is possible, please close or delete this topic. Something fix that problem, and now new window is open always.
