splitting large MP4

I do a lot of Band videos where I have about an hour of music and video. First I do all the audio editing/mastering in Cubase and import the master sound and camera videos into Movie Studio 17.

I end up with about 15 songs in a row, nicely arranged after each other with fade in/outs etc. and I have to create regions and render each song seperately.

I know Vegas Pro can batch export but I'm not paying for the Pro version so I wonder if there is a fast and easy way to render the entire video and then break up into seperate song videos later without having to re-encode the videos?

Put Markers or Regions in your project timeline where you want your cuts.

Select the region between markers you wish to render.

Check "Render Loop Region Only."

That's all there is to it.

You do not want to render a large video and then cut it up, which would require re-encoding in any version of Vegas. Always work from the Project.

well yes I know but it took me 2 hours to manually render 12 songs because you can't do it in one go.

maybe someone knows of a software that can vut up MP4 files without re-encoding. You can do it with VLC but it takes just as long as playing the entire video.
