Three Issues out of the blue with Movie Studio 15.0 Platinum

Hello,

I use this program once every couple of months to edit new music videos. Last night I wanted to post a new video and could not because I ran into three issues:

  1. I use three cameras that I have to sync together before editing. I usually use the 1 and 3 number buttons to get them close but was not able to. It's possible I had the num lock off, but if not, is there any way that that can be turned on and off?
  2. I'm trying to add text in a new track. There is a little magnifying glass that if I click on a track, all of the tracks collapse. There is a zoom edit tool highlighted on the tool bar that has a little magnifying glass. I don't know if they are related, but if I click on the highlighted box at the bottom it stays highlighted. Are these related and how can I get rid of this magnifying glass?
  3. Adding text, I click "insert text" and "sample text" shows up in the preview box, but I cannot find the actual box to do any editing.

Like I said, I only use this every couple of months and would think that the software would have the same settings as when I closed it. If anyone can help with these and also, let me know how it changed in the first place, that would be much appreciated.

Thank you for your help!

Start with the interactive tutorials already in your program. It's all explained there.

Thank you, but I know how to do what I want to do (I've made videos before), it's these other things like this magnifying glass that appeared out of nowhere that is not allowing me to stretch out an image (it's collapsing the tracks instead) and text showing in the preview but the text box is nowhere to be found.

So, I closed the program, reopened it, the magnifying glass is gone, I was able to add images and the text box appeared on my other computer screen.

I should be good now, thank you.

Sounds like Windows Magnifier was turned on.
