Light and expensive doesn't powerful. I'm dropping those two criteria in favor of a heavier Inspiron.

The recommend processor speed for VP 16 for standard use is 2.5ghz, which that processor is not really close to (at a base running frequency). While the frequency rating does not provide a significant indication of the true speed a processor has anymore, I can say that a typical mobile i5 processor will likely not provide a very good editing experience for VEGAS. In general, I would also recommend at least twice as much RAM.
