Use Handbrake to encode an mp4 with format frame rate. It will work.

Austin-Ring wrote on 6/26/2019, 8:11 PM

Do you mean same as source? I'm not sure what you mean.

Austin-Ring wrote on 6/26/2019, 8:54 PM

@Musicvid Could you please clarify? I checked almost every setting on HandBrake to no avail.

Musicvid wrote on 6/26/2019, 9:09 PM

Constant Frame Rate. Same as Source. On the Handbrake Video Tab. That will work in Vegas.

Variable Frame Rate will not work!

Ask on the Handbrake forum if you don't see it.

I found it, but it didn't work :(

Here's a Tutorial by Derek Moran (a.k.a. Dr. Zen). Read it, follow it, and it will work. And, use the "Original Source" footage for the "Transcode".

@Austin-Ring

What didn't work? There's no reason I can see. Can you upload some source footage to Drive or Dropbox. (not YouTube)?

I've already reported this to Support. I suggest you do the same.

My Pro 16 won't import MP4 files from a Mobius action camera. I get the message "Error unknown format or corrupted file".

I know of others with the same problem. I'm guessing there's either a bug or a lack of compatibility with MP4's written in some precise way.

I'll draw my support guys attention to this thread.

I know. I'm reporting that the same bug exists in Pro 16.
