When trying to add my video files to my project, my trial version of Movie Studio 17.0 Platinum (build 204) isn't recognizing the MXF files I'm trying to load. Is there a workaround for this? Thanks!
MXF is a wrapper that can contain any of a number of formats. Some MXF formats are supported in Vegas natively, and some are not. That's why we ask that you tell us what format is inside your MXF container. Once you have told us that, someone may be able to guide you further. Thanks.

MXF files generally wrap formats that are only supported by VEGAS Pro.
He's saying that your files may open in Vegas Pro, but not Movie Studio.
