NEW DOWNLOAD OF VEGAS 17 ON NEW COMPUTER WILL NOT OPEN. IHAVE CALLED DELL AND MICROSOFT AND THEY SAY THE COMPUTER IS WORKING JUST FINE. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A WAY THAT I CAN OPEN VEGAS 17 AND NOT HAVE TO REINSTALL IT. THANKS

Also, where did you download "Vegas 17?"
Sometimes anti-virus apps stop the installation manager from unpacking the actual VP and other companion installer files, which are much larger than the initial 'manager' file .. So temporarily disable the anti-virus and try again. Reports indicate a second or subsequent attempt has worked regardless of the anti-virus.. if.. you were able to download the initial install manager in the first place .
