So bought and upgraded to Vegas Pro 18 thinking it would be a quick download since the entire package is a little over 2 GB. Couple hours in and its still now finished downloading.
Download speeds are initially fine, starts at ~100MB/s but it goes down constantly til its around 40 KB/so. Pressing stop then continue resets the download speed but over time decreases again.
Is this a me problem or a Magix/Vegas problem?
I tried downloading a patch one time and got like 100Kb/s but tried again in a couple minutes and got full saturated bandwidth for what I pay for.
Guess it depends.
It really depends but usually I get good speeds with the patch/update files. Whenever I can I download directly from the forum/site rather than from within Vegas.
I'm pretty sure Vegas still uses Amazonaws download servers, and they've had their share of problems this winter.
