Vegas Movie Studio keeps deactivating Dolby

Every time I'm in the Movie Studio program window—and only then—it deactivates Dolby Audio. Apparently, it thinks it's using the microphone. A screenshot of the issue is below.

Here's a screenshot of Dolby audio active.

And here's my Movie Studio product info.

Vegas uses the audio drivers  you select in Preferences. It seems apparent you have not selected the same drivers as Acer in Vegas preferences. What you did select disables other drivers.

Also, note that Vegas does not have Dolby Surround decoders built in. It accepts discrete multichannel PCM from your input source(s).

How do I change that in Vegas?

Preferences->Audio

Your program already has all the HELP files needed to show you. Please use them.

If what you want to do is multitask games or whatever while Vegas is open, I don't recommend doing that.

...that's strange. It works just fine now, and I didn't do anything. Maybe it was a bug on Dolby's end. Thanks anyway.
