Vegas Post -- Vegas Image Requirements

KProuty wrote on 7/18/2022, 1:10 PM

I read the requirements for Vegas and it said Nvidia 9xxx, (and I have Nvidia 960m and Intel HD 530 and 16GB ram) but I'm installing Vegas Image and it says the following:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
  • Processor: Intel if 6th Gen (2015), AMD Ryzen 5 (2017)
  • RAM: (16 Ga Recommended)
  • Graphics card:
  • 2GB graphics memory for projects up to 24MP. 4GB + for projects over 24MP
  • Intel HD Graphics 620 (2016)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series (2016)
  • AMD Radeon RX 400 series (2016)
  • OpenGL 4. I and OpenCL I. 2 support

It says don't install unless you have it. Sooo... either they have to update the specs on the website so folks don't install 19 that includes Image? What will happen if I install?

Trial version? Hit film would also have its own, non Vegas branded version, not sure what that is, but they have something. If Vegas Image would not have a Trial prog they probably would. Some of these, typically, are going to be base-line "suggestions" but that doesn't mean it won't work. It may not work optimally, and for Image, I can't image that any of your specs are going to be that detrimental, especially since "Image" doesn't opperate in any sort of "real time" mode.

I'm using Vegas Image on a 5th gen. Intel with 620 graphics. It runs, it just takes a while to get the job done.

Nope, I just upgraded to 19 and they said that 20 was coming. It is Vegas Post so it was part of that. I didn't upgrade to the subscription. I'm a laggard.
