Is this a tv broadcast recording? Nothing out of place with the specs.

It is a video clip that I've edited with the Vegas Pro 16.0. about a month ago. I don't know what happened, the program just suddenly couldn't read the file, it's not just this particular file, but any mp4 files... I've reformat the computer at least 3 times, tried different builds including the latest build but the problem still persists. I've installed the program (build 307) on my laptop and it works fine... That's really weird...

It could be due to a recent update to your Intel HD Graphics driver. See part 19 of this: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-troubleshooting-crashing-and-stability--104785/

Which language version of Vegas are you using?

When it crashes is there any other error message?

Thanks! It works for now although I've no idea what's behind it!😇
