I am trying to reinstall Vegas Pro 20.0. I can't first uninstall the version I have and get error 1612. It is missing Vegas_Pro_20_setup_x64ms_.
I want to get a clean install as I have been having crashes even when doing nothing. I did have 17 and 19 installed previously and have attempted to remove these along with other plug-ins.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can remove the software completely from my machine before I contact the support desk?
'Revo Uninstall' can remove left-over registry entries and other pertinent data the default uninstall leaves behind, which can cause issues to reoccur. Revo Uninstall has a pro and a freeware version. Uninstall Pro has a 'forced' option, which is wanted when the application's uninstall file is missing or corrupted. Otherwise, the free version is adequate in most cases. Both versions have an advanced scan mode, which is usually recommend. However, if other versions of an application are installed, try not to delete shared data, which are usually associated plug-ins and presets.

Many thanks for the info. I used Revo Uninstall pro as suggested to clean the Registry and I have successfully reinstalled Vegas Pro 20.0.
