Vegas Pro-Bad captures

I have Vegas Pro 16 installed on 3 computers, 2 are used for DV capture. 1 of them has no problem, the other when I capture footage has dropouts/pixelated footage, plays smoothly though. What is wrong with the footage I capture, and how can I resolve the problem?

To do this, we would first have to know the footage you are using (Media info) and some other settings.
Start at B and C.

Bad firewire connection, bad cable, harddrive not set properly for video capture.

You'll find some good troubleshooting tips for your firewire capture here. Maybe you'll just want to turn off the preview if the captured video is fine.
