Be sure your system is only the first time you use that video format in Vegas Pro 18. It needs to be registered separately.

I'm a GH5 user. Shot 10 Bit 422 4k videos and it works just fine on my end.

odd, I don't have QT, yet it works for me. Do you have enable legacy decoding checked in file i/o? Uncheck it if so.
