Video Not Rendering Properly

elijah wrote on 4/1/2020, 1:49 PM

Hi - I have been using Movie Studio for about a week now and have successfully created a few videos. I am trying to string together 5 videos, so I created a movie for each and then created a new project and imported the 4 separate videos. However, when create the video, it just clips the last 5 minutes of the movie. As in when you load the movie in the media play, it shows its 27 minutes long, but then when it gets to 22:02 (this isn't even exactly at the end of one of the smaller videos), it just ends. I have not been able to figure out what is causing this. Can anyone help?

- Which VMS version and buildnr are you using (startscreen)?
- Why do you make first 4 separated and combinig them later? Normally this gives quality loss.
- What type of sourcefiles do you use?
- What are your projectproperties?(menu file)

I re-ran it for a 3rd time and seems to have worked this time...

I really appreciate your response

I split up the videos because the loading for having so many in at once was taking forever. Is there a way to "import" projects?

WRT your first question, you probably had a loop region enabled that did not cover the entire video.

Thanks for the response. That's what all the blogs kept saying too, but when I checked the settings for all of them, I didn't have it enabled from what I could tell and when I ran it again it worked without me changing anything (to my knowledge).

The loop region is the blue bar with yellow arrows above all the tracks. It affects all tracks equally, not individually. Here are some training resources for you:
