My video is finished rendering, however, the render box will show it is 50% completed, then it will loop a second time and render it twice to make it 100% completed.
In the render options for the render template, have you got '2-pass' enabled. What you've described is what I see with '2-pass' enabled - it renders the project once and then repeats the render process which is supposed to refine the render process.
In the render settings you must have it on VBR two pass. Changing to one pass will solve your problem although two pass can give better results if your bitrate is low.
I don't have two pass. ( I went to File > Render As > Customize Template > Video > Mode)
It would have been helpful had you shown the entire custom template rather than just one setting so that we know the full specs of the template. For example:
The arrow points to the 2-pass option.
Thank you for uploading the custom template, but which version of Vegas Pro are you using? I can't replicate those settings in Vegas Pro 20.
No problem, I'm using Vegas Pro 17.
I've not ever used that render template in the past (even going back to Vegas Pro 10), but to help others on the forum who may be able to help, is there any particular or special reason that you are using the WMV render format rather than any of the more modern render formats available in Vegas Pro 17? Also, what is the destination for the rendered projects?
Have you pasted two copies of the video event to the timeline? Or maybe dragged it out to double length?
WMV is an obsolete format. I suggest starting with Magix AVC templates matching your source.
