Video Won't Play Smoothly

I haven't had this problem before and I've been using Vegas Pro for years. Currently I'm using Vegas Pro 13 on a Windows computer with Windows 7. Mpeg 4 clips on the timeline won't play smoothly. The audio is fine but the video is best described as

stuttery. I'd like to post the clip to this forum if some kind person can tell me how to do that. Then maybe I can get help with this. Thanks in advance.

What have you set your Preview quality as? Try changing it to see what works best.

1. Back up a page and follow the instructions for posting video properties.

2. Once rendered, evaluate the rendered video video in a player

3. For smoother PREVIEW on the TIMELINE, consult th FAQ on the same page.

Really, that's all it takes.
