I have tried this with a bunch of clips recorded on a Canon Vixia. Some in 30 FPS and some in 60i FPS
If I render in HEVC 30 frames per second (or 29.97) The audio is horribly out of sync and gets worse as the video goes on. I also notice that the file will say 25 frames per second in the details tab when I click properties in windows. It also says 1088 for height instead of 1080.
The properties in Vegas Pro will be set to 30 frames. When I put a clip recorded in 60i on the timeline and it asks me to match the properties of the video, it will automatically set to 30 frames.
If I render in AVC 30 frames, I get a dramatically much bigger file size, but the audio is in sync and it says 1080 and 30 frames a second in the details tab in windows. The audio is in sync when I play it.
If I render HEVC 25 frames per second, the audio is in sync.
I used Cyberlink Powerdirecter for a long time and usually rendered in HEVC 30 frames per second and never had any problems.
Thanks for any advice you can give.
