A component failed to initialize. NVENC stops working after cancelling the render

 

After I cancel the render and try to render the video again, even with another preset, the NVENC stops working in vegas pro 18 build 527 and I have to restart the app to make it working again. Is there another way to fix it, besides restarting the app when it happens?

Update your graphics driver to the latest Studio version and see if that fixes it.

got the newest version of drivers I could on my GTX970 (528.02) and it still happens after I cancel the render and try to render the vid again:

No idea what it can be, but on my installation with the Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti with the latest Studio drivers 528.02 I see this on the same template

i can see it either during the first render, but try to cancel rendering twice or more, will you still be able to render the vid by using nvenc?

I don't think there's anything you can do as a user to change this behavior in Vegas. Just restart after a failed render.

I also have a gtx970 and render to hevc never worked for me with her.
