Hi

new user here, i made my Movie Studio 17 Platinum crash while playing about with a transition called (warp flow). i dropped it into place, and then tried to drag the time line cursor over the transition to see what it did and looks like. screen goes black and then i am left sitting back in windows wonder, WTF did i do!

what about anyone else, can you do it, does it crash for you as well, or work ok, does my system have an issue? that i need to deal with.

Thanks

Just before it crashes, does your screen look like this?

My first recommendation is to go the the Intel, nVidia or AMD site (whoever makes your graphics card) and download the latest driver. Don't trust Windows to do it. Believe it or not, this fixes these types of problems the vast majority of times.

Assuming of course you don't have a memory or heat issue.

No it looks normal until it hits the transition then goes black

the card is a Zatoc GT 710 2gig and i updated the driver, as you mentioned.

but it is still crashing or just locking up now and it sometimes takes longer as it trying to do something before crashing. i have now seen the white-ist screen that Musicvid mentioned but only after i have done a ctrl+shift+Del to get the task manager up to terminate the program, because it taking to long. a blue spinning circle sits on the screen and when the task manager pops up, i see that screen white-ist screen behind the task manager with (MSP17 not responding). but the few times it didn't crash and made it thru the transition without crashing on me. the video behind it wasn't working, none of the programs key-frame actions happened, screen remained in the same until the end. the one time it make it thru the transition without crashing , it just stuttered the video. MSP17 just shook the the image a little back and forth a bit from the at the beginning of the transition is to the end.

if it makes a dif, i am using 3 large panoramic images to make a pan & crop movie for practice using these features
