Or, you could simply match your frame rate to the source and turn off resampling...

I often cut videos with different FPS from different sources so I have to convert it with After effects to not to get jerks.

Personally I usually change frame rates or do slomo by round-tripping to MFlowFps/AviSynth/VirtualDub but it would be great to have this functionality built-in. We have Twixtor available as a paid plug-in but I don't know how good it is for changing frame rate. And the primary competition have had "Optical Flow" for a long time.
