What's the deal with auto audio sync in VP 19?

I usually sync everything by eyeballing but I thought I'd see if the auto sync feature had improved any since I last tried it.

I had 2 tracks of video with stereo audio and stereo audio from a mixing board and visually got them close.

The duration was about 50 minutes.

After 2 hours and 10 min it finally finished and it didn't even sync at all...nothing moved.

Is there something I'm missing or did they decide it's not an important "feature"?

Thanks but I'm not interested in paying for any app for something that takes less than 3 minutes to do manually.

If that's the best solution I think Magix needs to just remove that "feature" that doesn't even work.
