Which render template for .mxf OP1A file complying with AS-11 UK DPP ?

Broadcaster wants .mxf OP1A file 1920x1080 50i 50mbs complying with AS-11 UK DPP. Has anyone here rendered in this format? Also is it possible to embed timecode into a render? My timeline timecode starts at 09:59:30:00 but when rendered and reimported as a new project, starts at 00:00:00:00. Many thanks. (Vegas Edit 19. i7 9700K 64mb RAM)

Vegas Pro 19 can encode three MXF formats: Sony MXF, HDCAM SR, and Panasonic P2, all registered. See if one of those will satisfy your broadcaster's requirements.

Thank you. Do you mean registered as compliant with with AS-11 UK DPP standard? I have tried rendering in the formats you mention but the file checker and metadata editor supplied by DPP is showing an error each time. Have you submitted any files for TV broadcast using any of the render templates you mention? Thanks again.

The broadcaster has indicated they will accept .mxf 1920x1080 50i 50mbs without metadata but it would be good to have this knowledge for the future and also to know if the Sony .mxf render templates are compliant with AS-11 UK DPP.

From what I can tell... It's an organization that requires paid memberships from media production hardware and software manufacturers to use their metadata, and they sell it to the stations as a way of standardizing production to meet certain quality standards... so far only AVID is a member on the NLE end as far as I can tell, so I wouldn't worry about it unless the client absolutely refuses.

I mean as licensed by their registered owners, which are Sony and Panasonic, respectively.

That explanation is very helpful. I was attempting to have the file "correct" for the broadcaster by including the metadata. Thank you.
