Hi all,
I'm trying to import an old .WMV video to Vegas. It's an old camcorder film that myself and some friends made way back in 2000, but the music and effects were taken from an commercial film so I'm going to do a new sound design with it.
The issue is that when I import the film the frame rate is set at 1.935, so it looks as if it's only playing 1 frame out of maybe 12 or 15 in a second. Manually turning up the frame rate in Vegas just makes it look like a bunch of dissolves, as I don't think the frames were imported in the first place.
Granted it's an old and very low resolution file, but it plays fine in Windows Media Player and VLC, so I'm stumped as to why Vegas can't seem to handle it?
Any suggestions? There doesn't seem to be many import options for this kind of file.
Thanks! I'm using Vegas pro 14 on a Windows 7 64-bit PC.
WMV imports at very low frame rate.
