A video will not render and freezes each time at 18%

Hey, I just singed in to this community, but have been using Sony Vegas 16 for a while now. This is probably the longest video I have ever tried to render. (I have no problem rendering the short ones) To make the size a bit smaller, I am rendering in Internet HD 720p 25fps. The file´s size, once finished, should be around 1GB. It goes all nice from the beginning but then it freezes each time on 18% and will not go further. (the whole program freezes)

Source video files are on a 1TB disk

Windows 10 64bit

Intel CORE i7

I would be grateful for any advice. Thank you!

We need more information - ideally, if you have any further questions, write the hardware and software data in your profile under "Signature".
In the meantime, you can see what exactly happened in the last scene where the computer kept freezing. Take out the scene and embed it again, or copy the whole project and insert it into a new, empty project using copy / paste.

Hey, follow the directions given or no help.

There is no such thing as Sony Vegas 16!

I'm having the same problem. About 60% of the time if I do any minor edit my render hangs up on 2%. I have to close the program, open the file, don't edit anything and then it renders OK ...well i say ok, it seems loads slower that V17 tbh.

It is unlikely you have both precisely the same system and footage. Therefore, you are not having the same problem.

Please start your own thread, and provide the required information for YOUR situation, thanks!
