Apple ProRes in VEGAS Pro 19.0424

In Vegas Pro 19 Build 424 the Apple ProRes rendering templates work correctly if the user doesn't change the settings in the existing templates.

But when I try to change the frame rate of an Apple ProRes rendering template, the template aways shows a frame rate of 172 fps and there is a rendering error. Has anyone else noticed this?

See in the video that it works correctly with the default rendering template with 29,970 fps. But when I change the frame rate to 30 fps and save the new model, the settings get weird showing 172 fps in the info and 23,976 fps in frame rate box.

Theoretically, it shoulding be possible to customize all options freely. If there is a 5.1 audio option in these rendering models, it will all even better.

@joelsonforte.br, my VP19 (b424) says 29.97 (not 172) when i choose the default HQ template, and it renders fine without a crash. I haven't worked with 5.1, and would like other to mention about the possibility. Sorry.

@Shinra Bansho

The problem only occurs when the frame rate in the existing models is modified as shown in the video.

It works correctly when the frame rate in existing models is not modified.

I'm pretty sure Apple ProRes doesn't support >60fps.

You could try the ffmpeg variant and see if it will take more.

@joelsonforte.br

My Vegas 19-424 installation appears to be working as expected.

@john_dennis

Thanks for your screen recording. She helped a lot. This is weird, I can't change the frame rate like you did in your video without the problem I showed in my screen recording.

I've enabled and disabled GPU. I enabled and disabled So4compoundplug. I reset Vegas to original settings the problem remains. I'll study a little more to see if I can find the cause.

Thank you very much!
