ASIO driver sample rate bit depth error stupidity

Just upgraded to Vegas 18 Pro and have spent 2-3 hours just to be able to record a simple spoken mono audio track. Got it all edited down after miraculously getting the stupid sample rate/bit depth error to go away. Now I'm trying to render a SIMPLE mono .WAV file and now the error AGAIN. Rebooted, restarted program, adjusted project properties, ASIO driver will NOT cooperate! You all need to do better than this!

FYI @RobertK, and just so you know, this is a 'users' forum. 'You all' (us) are VP users like you. 'We' (which includes the forum moderators) are not Magix employees.

You just need to open your ASIO panel and set your controls while in Vegas. If you can't do that, they're not compatible, which would not necessarily be Vegas' fault.
