Audio waves

When editing my video in iMovie I tend to use the audio wave forms as visual cues to know where each segment begins. In VMS I don't see the wave forms well enough to use them for this purpose--they appear too small on the screen. Is there a way to fix this?

Zoom in into the timeline (using arrow-up or mouse-wheel up) and zoom into the waveform view by holding shift while pressing arrow-up. Also drag your audio track height larger (on the header).

If the waveforms are small, your native audio levels may be too low. Right click on the event, and select Switches/Normalize.
