Best codec and Render bitrate for 4k DJI Drone footage (H265).

Im after advice to get the best quality renders of my edits, I film at 4k , 30FPS , 100mb bitrate and in H256. I use MAGIX AVC/AAC and It never seems to come out as good as I see footage online on youtube. Is there a better codec for rendering h265 drone footage , also do I match my bitrate to the origional file recorded ?

Yes, HEVC (h265) at 50 Mbps, per Youtube recommendations.

VEGAS PRO 16 does not recognize H265 files?? How do I work with MOV H265 files in Vegas 16? Is there any prediction of a new build for VEGAS PRO 16?

@Glennster Prob best to Google H.265 vs H.264, there's loads on this subject but no you don't match the bitrate when converting from one to the other because H.265 is more/differently compressed,

'H.265, or High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) as it is sometimes referred to, is the latest standard in video coding and is an advancement of H.264, also known as Advanced Video Coding (AVC). The ultimate aim of this standard is to offer the same, or improved, picture quality but with increased compression efficiencies to make large data files more manageable and reduce the overall storage burden.'

No, Vegas Pro 16 reached its end-of-life when Vegas Pro 17 was introduced. There are no plans to exhume it.
