Best Format to Use Alongside Final Cut Pro?

So, the rest of the crew I work with edits on mac, FCP. We have been using pro-res XQ to send files from them to my PC so I can color correct or add after effects, which I composite within Vegas Pro before encoding it to the final output format. However, when I edit in Vegas Pro 14 and save a ProRes to send to them, FCP will not open the file. Do you have any recommendations for how to make the files work, or what other formats will be good that FCP can open and will preserve as much quality as possible?

Avid DNXHR and DNXHD.

So Vegas 14 is not making a true Pro Res file?

I don't think Vegas uses an Apple-licensed encoder.

Even though the holidays are over, I never got a response from Apple.
