Canceled render still takes up space

Hello, I recently canceled a render because I forgot to take out a part of the video so I canceled it so I did and then I went to go to see my disk space and it was siphoned by about 10 gigs and I tried to re render it if I remember correctly I had this problem before I don’t remember how I fixed it but o tried deleting the video that I re rendered which turned out as 1kb and deleted it and it still was at the same state as before so I restarted my computer and it still was at the siphoned state. Any suggestions?

It takes time for Vegas to purge temp files from a cancelled render. Restarting Vegas should make this happen right away.

Is Vegas Pro still listed as a live App or as a Background Process in Task Manager? If yes, highlight the entry and hit End Task and see if that solves the problem.
