I'm using Movie Studio 16 Plat. I recorded an interview today (Vixia HF-S 200) but, due to time pressures, was unable to get the warm color temp I wanted. My background light was a 500W tungsten with a 1/4 CTO through a cookie; key was a daylight CFL wrapped in a 1/2 CTO.
My camera has limited settings and a custom balance through a 1/8 CTB was too subtle a change. I settled on the tungsten white balance setting and, of course, ended up with a coolish-neutral image, though hoping for a sort of late afternoon tonality. Subject is seated in front of a whlte mantle. I tried playing with track color correction adjustment in Vegas, but seemed to be going either red or toward yellow-green, even though trying to move the dots in an orange direction. I really don't know my way around in the RGB adjustment domain.
Can someone suggest some color correction settings that will steer me in the direction of "adding" another 1/4 CTO or so?
Thanks.
