Compatible video capture device

I need a way to use my video camera with Vegas Stream. The StarTech USBHD3CAP device that I used with my camera to stream to Zoom does not work with Vegas Stream. I see that Blackmagic Decklink might work, but it's expensive, and I'd rather find an external product that I can plug into a laptop. Would Blacklink Atem Mini work? Any other advice?

What is "my video camera?"

I tried the trial of Vegas Stream to see if it would work with my Atem Mini, and yes it did. The Mini takes HDMI only camera inputs so be aware of that. The Atem is seen as a "webcam" device by the computer. I did buy Vividcast instead because I can use it on two computers. With Stream, you need to have Vegas Pro also installed on both computers.

How to use Stream (NBFX Vividcast) transitions:

Newbie😁

Vegas Pro 22 (VP18-21 also installed)

Win 11 Pro always updated

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 cores / 32 threads

32GB DDR4 3200

Sapphire RX6700XT 12GB Driver: 25.5.1

Gigabyte X570 Elite Motherboard

Panasonic G9, G7, FZ300
