Crashing when importing more than jpeg at a time

Every time I try to import more than one jpeg the software crashes - can anyone please help?

I am using Movie Studio 15 Platinum on windows 10, i7 16gb ram

All jpegs are not created equal. Batch convert your image folder to png in Irfanview and try again.
