Stuck at Creating file I/O manager on start up. Really? In this day and age can't even create a file manager?
Obviously programmers don't believe in error checking routines

Guess we will see if they learn how to do this right with a patch or vegas 16...............

Found solutions:
Had to delete avi codecs from plugins and vidcap, also had to delete an independencefx.dll (a magix plugin !)
Trying out Vegas 15 trial. Hoping vegas 16 fixes lots of bugs in addition to the new goodies...
Have many video editing programs , have even used vegas pro suite (13) before.
Real specs in brief this particular box CPU 8700K, 64gb RAM , Over 40TB storage mix of SSD, M2, and mechanical drives, 1080Ti's. etc..
