Effect intensity changes on an arbitrary frame during render

Without any keyframes on or video events beginning or ending at one particular frame, Vegas is arbitrarily changing the Rays effect by making it noticeably brighter at and after that frame than it was before.

Frame 96:

This problem only happens when I render in 4k (screenshot resolution was reduced). 1080 Full HD doesn't cause the problem for some reason. I need my video in 4k though.

I do have Computer to Studio RBG enabled on levels.

Software: Vegas Pro 17.0

Processor: Intel Core i7 8th Gen

Graphics Card: Intel UHD Graphics 620

Operating System: Windows 10

I wonder if you're running out of ram either on the mainboard or gpu.

Run task manager, view the Performance tab while you're rendering and watch the cpu and gpu mem levels

System 1:

Windows 10
i9-10850K 10 Core
128.0G RAM
Nvidia RTX 3060 Studio driver [most likely latest]
Resolution        3840 x 2160 x 60 hertz
Video Memory 12G GDDR5

System 2:

Lenovo Yoga 720
Core i7-7700 2.8Ghz quad core, 8 logical
16G ram
Intel HD 630 gpu 1G vram
Nvidia GTX 1050 gpu 2G vram

@Kou-Moua

Not running out of either. The GPU doesn't get higher than 40% and the CPU, not higher than 60%. Also, it seems to be the exact same frame each time, though there is nothing special or different about that particular frame as far as I know.

Try turning off GPU and rendering with a software encoder.

@Musicvid

Do you mean changing the encode mode? I just tried that, but to no avail-- frame 96 changes, still. Unless you mean something else....

Maybe need to redo the effect from scratch?
