Entry Level 4k HDR Monitor - Thoughts?

rtbond wrote on 10/26/2019, 1:40 PM

I was considering the LG 32UK550-B (a bit over $400 USD) for a new Windows 10 build (Nvidia TX 1660 Ti GPU). Any thoughts or suggestions on this or other entry-level monitors? I will be using this with Vegas Pro 17 for prosumer applications.

The 32UK550-B is rated as a DCI-P3 95% Color gamut with HDR 10

Yeah. Wait a year for the price to come down.

Yes, that is another option. There are a limited number of affordable Wide Color Gamut (e.g., DCI-P3), HDR monitors, and even fewer that are DisplayHDR certified displays.

Prices will begin to come down later next year, my crystal ball tells me.
