Error code: -59 An error occurred starting Vegas Pro. There is no license to use this software.

I found another post that explained how to fix this error. I uninstalled Vegas Pro and removed the file, installation.ini. It worked until I closed Vegas Pro. Then I got a BSOD with a 'Bad Pool Caller' error. When I tried to open Vegas Pro again I got the error: -59. What can I do to fix this problem? Thanks.

Windows 10
Vegas Pro 15

If you registered your software with Magix, go here, then My Software.

Musicvid, thanks for your reply. But I'm not sure what you mean by your response? I have S/N and all, reinstalled but that didn't help.

Do you have a Steam or Humble Bundle version?

I have Vegas Pro 15 stand alone. No bundle. Thanks.

You can file a support ticket with Magix here: https://support2.magix.com/customer/en/vegas/form

My best guess is something going on with your computer or windows install is messing this up, as Vegas on its own will not cause a BSOD.

I only wanted to point out that the error -59 is often associated with software purchased from third-party vendors.

Thanks for the replies. I hated to do it but I reinstalled Windows and it's now working.

My version was bought from Magix, downloaded and registered with them. Definitely not pirated unless Magix is pirating their own software.

Have you already activated it multiple times?

Have you already actuvated it on two machines?
