Floating Master Fader Window

I am using Vegas Pro 18 on Windows 10 with a dual monitor setup and it's working great. I have my mixing console on the secondary screen which displays all the tracks. The default arrangement has the master fader all the way to the right. I'd like to detach it from the track list so I can position it on the left side of the screen to make it more visible as I'm working. I don't see a function to detach the master fader or any tracks from the array. I've seen what looks like the master fader floating by itself in several video tutorials, so I thought I'd ask here. Thank you!

Click-drag on the window header to undock -- Ctrl-drag to dock.

If VP-18 is the same as VP-16 and earlier, you can also open the "mixer" (which is a separate window from the 'console') That can be placed where you want it. The 'mixer' only has the master and sub-master faders.
There also a timeline audio master, where master volume and/or FX plug-ins automation (envelopes) can be viewed and edited
