Screenshots describe the problem

Thus when using "3D text" then random artififacts appear in the generated PNG, seemingly following edit bounding box of 3D text.

During evaluation I failed to notice problem in output since it was hidden behind huge "Vegas Image demo" banner.

Everyone seeing same problem?

Ok, did some investigation, and it seems that it happens whenever I plug external monitor (or two) into my laptop. It does not matter if external monitor is mirrorin, alone or extending desktop, artifacts start to appear. If only using laptop's own screen, then likehood of encountering seems to be low.

Sounds rather *odd* that external monitors would affect internal calculations done in software.

Yes it sounds like a graphics acceleration problem. Start by updating your GPU drivers to the latest and posting your system specs.
