Handbrake "sticking" on Scanning Title

PeterH wrote on 2/23/2021, 8:13 AM

I've been using Handbrake extensively for the past 6 months. I had a project crash in Vegas and when trying to render in Handbrake the program "sticks" at Scanning Title 0%.

I've left it for a considerable amount of time but it stays at 0%.

Can anyone help with this?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks.

You'd be better trying the handbrake forum. If VP crashed when rendering, the output file is most likely unusable.

Vegas crashed before I started to render. I then reopened the project, finished the editing and then tried to render. That's where Handbrake stopped working.

So the same media doesn't work in either Handbrake or Vegas? That should give you a big clue as to where the problem lies.

For Vegas support, start here:

No, I can render the project in Vegas but cannot render within Vegas using Handbrake. Thats where it sticks.
