Happy Holidays from Sunny California

We got the first rain of the season yesterday. Some might think it was a month late, but we're thankful for what we get...

Technical Details

  • Cropped to 16x9 in Vegas Pro 14 using Pan/Crop.
  • Vegas Color Corrector (Secondary) Saturation = 1.612, Gain 1.186
  • A garden hose supplied enough water to leave some drops on the citrus. We didn't get that much rain.

I hope the fires are not causing you any trouble. Happy Holidays from the midwest. (indiana)

I don't have any right to complain while sitting in my warm and cozy house when others are now homeless. The air over the central valley was very still for more than a week and the smoke from the Paradise created air quality that was considered hazardous to all people, not just sensitive groups. We've spent our time inside with the doors and windows sealed and the air handlers running to remove as much particulate matter as possible. It's great to see rain and cooler conditions for those who are still fighting the fires.

I got a whiff of your difficulties in sunny Colorado. My mylar porch barriers went back up for a couple of days.

Not a shill, but the tall Holmes indoor air ionizers from Target work great on smoke! 50-60.

Hope you managed to have a good time despite the awful fires. It's a damp old day here in England which only makes me wish you could have added a gin and some ice to the image😀😀😀. Happy Thanksgiving.

I made a baked tenderloin topped with red N.M. chile strips, and portabello stuffed with shrimp meat and rolled in garlic bread crumbs and olive oil, and oven-crusted parmesan.

BTW, I dont like leftover turkey. Or stuffing.

Hi John, were almost neighbors........I live in Bishop. I'm sure you've driven through here before. The Sierra's received a nice dusting of snow Wednesday night from that system that came through.

For Richard,

Musicvid,

We had turkey, but this year it was prepared by professionals. It was likely less expensive than when cooked at home, we don't have to eat left-overs for a week and I don't have to make three or more last minute trips to whatever store that happens to be open on the holiday to get something that was not in the original meal plan.

Robert

You live on the fun side of the Sierra.

Well, I don't have to use a garden hose to wet the citrus today.
