I updated my banding test target from a few years ago to HDR. It is now a 16 bit 3840x2160 RGB TIFF, and for instance when used with Difference Composite and Input End Levels, shows differences in the spectrum most susceptible to visible banding. It can also be used with RQM tools like SSIM and PSNR. I can upload a sample VP19 project if anyone wants, but here is the TIFF for general use in 32-bit float test projects, particularly those destined for 8-bit delivery.
