Greetings.

i have sony movie studio 13. but i am open to look into other programs if needed.

my problem is that i stream for 2 to 3 hours. and then i like to upload the stream to youtube in 30 min parts.

right now the only way i know of is to move everything into vegas. then cut it up and recompile it.
with no editing happening. i was hoping that there was a faster and easier way to do it.

thanks for you time

Yes.

VideoRedo muxes, splits, joins without re-encode, meaning the time it takes to pour a cup of coffee. Vegas, a nonlinear editor will not do this past mpeg-2 compression.

i see it. gonna build up a back catalog of video's, so i have something to test it out with.

question now that i have you here :)

i have a few option for recording format.
optimal for me is FLV sins it is resistant to shut downs.

but my other options are

mp4
mov
MKV
TS
M3U8

do you have any suggestions ?
i am using OBS to record with.
