How to Permanantly "Ignore Missing Files?"

I have some .veg files that once referenced some project media files that are no longer part of the edit. Those huge files are also no longer stored on the editing computer. Every time I open one of those .veg (or copies from them), I am met with the dialog box about missing files. Is there a way to permanently stop that initial search from looking for the no-longer-used-on-the-timeline files?

I can only think of the obvious one, remove those from the project. If you still want them there maybe someone knows a way.

Go to Project Media pane and delete them. Simple as pie.

Yes, go to tools and select "clean project media" and save your project. All none used media in the media pane will be deleted from the media pane, even simpler as pie!
