How to save a project template?

Is there a way a project template in Vegas? Meaning, assets like generated media are saved on the timeline and I just have to drop in my video and modify from there? Thank you

Save a project with only the common content.

Or look at Production Assistant.

Third party scripts and extensions have their own capabilities.
